Tavern Glasses Are Made In A Style That Was Commonly Seen In Homes And Taverns In Colonial Times. A Clear Tavern Glass Was Generally Used For Wine While A Darker Colored Glass Was Used For Other Beverages. Mount Vernon’s Cobalt Colored Tavern Glasses Make Perfect Water Glasses For Today’s Dining Tables. The Tavern Glasses Are Approximately 7 ¼” Tall, 3″ In Diameter At The Base, And 4″ In Diameter At The Lip. Size Will Vary As Each Glass Is Individually Hand-Made. The Capacity Of The Large Tavern Glass Is 6 Ounces.
